About Us
LEAMINGTON CYCLING & ATHLETICS CLUB
Leamington’s Original Athletics Club
We believe athletics is for everyone. At LC&AC our mission is to provide world-class coaching, a welcoming environment and a pathway to competition for every athlete — whatever their age, ability or ambition.
Founded in 1928 through the amalgamation of the Leamington Cycling Club and Athletic Club — with roots stretching back to Leamington Harriers in 1868 — we are one of the oldest and most established athletics clubs in the Midlands.
Based at Edmondscote Athletics Track in Leamington Spa, we are a full multi-discipline club covering track and field, cross country, road running and cycling. Our 12 UKA qualified coaches work with athletes from age 8 through to masters level, from complete beginners to national and international competitors.
In 2025 we finished second in the Midlands Senior Track & Field League — our highest ever placing in nearly 100 years of competition.
